Rota Suites - Sorrento

Our host Raphaella was fantastic and so helpful, the hotel has great facilities and is in a good location.

The noise on the first night kept us awake but the hotel promptly moved us to a better room the next morning and we had no problem with noise after that.

Rota Suites is kind of a Flat. We rented a small apartment; main bedroom with king size bed, Living room with sofa bed and american kitchen. Staff is TOP. Rafaella and Salvatore. Could not expect more professional and friendly people. Always ready to go beyond duty to help. Hotel location is top. 300 meters away ( 5 minutes walk) from Sorrento main square. Close to restaurants, shopping etc...Quiet at night, with a parking! Building was refurbished last year: everything looks and is brand new!!! what a pleasure... and room. Big bedroom, big bed. Big and delicious bathroom. Shower is great. very agreable and big terraza on the bedroom. New. Everything new. Gives you a feeling of wellbeing. Very reasonnable price.

No restaurant. No Breakfast. Either you bring your own (the room has an american kitchen) or you go elsewhere. We bought our cereals, milk and soft drinks, stored them in the room fridge. Great. Charged and expensive in room wi-fi. We were fortunate to be in a room where we could access close by free wi-fi. No pool or any other facility.

The location is good,the apartment was very clean and renewed.

The address location,that mentioned in the letter of the hotel,is not correct and because that we spanned 1 hour to find the hotel.the wrong adress is via rota 25 sorrento. The real address is via branardino rota corner with vialle nizza.please change the address.

Excellent modern hotel in a good location. Better than a lot around. But....

Facilities are very limited, pool is in another hotel about 5 min walk away and costs 6 euro to use it. There is no maid service, they drop off towels (once in the week we were there). But that's it. If we expected it it would have been ok but we thought they would clean at least once during our stay. I'm not that fussy about such things (I'm a bloke) but the girls were getting irritated by it. But now you know what to expect its a great place to stay.

i found it so accessible to the town of sorrento , it was perfect. my brother was getting married and we were so central to every thing. we were 5 minute walking distance from the train station and the central piazza of sorrento. we were just around the corner from the wedding reception. there was a hairdressers around the corner and a beauty salon and loads of gorgeous coffee shops.it was just brilliant.

Close to bus, train and port to visit Amalfi and Capri. Close to shops and restaurants

No soap, coffee, tea in room. Very noisy bar/restaurant underneath room. Noisy roads. Bathroom wasn't properly clean when we moved in.My luggage was lost by airline and sent to hotel at 11pm and I went out in the morning and bought some new replacement clothes, then on return, my suitcase was in the room, but no-one had told me in the morning before I left and spoke with reception, that my case was already with them. It cost me a lot of money replacing clothes that were already sitting at reception and they didn't tell me.

One bedroom apartment was extremely spacious and modern. Wonderful for our family of 4.

One hotel manager was extremely unpleasant - Daniela.

Great experience. Very modern, clean with a friedly staff.

Breakfast would be nice

The rooms were very functional and spotlessly clean. They are very light and modern with a great little kitchen unit. The apartments are only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Sorrento which also meant they were somewhat quieter than staying in the town centre. We really enjoyed our stay there.

The price for the 'services' was somewhat high. Internet usage - $5 Euro per hour, pool usage (not onsight) $10 Euro/person, which when travelling with children is high. First night there we asked for additional pillows but were given the answer that there was none which is somewhat unacceptable. The same staff member was seen the following night putting out the rubbish - when some fell out of the bags he simply kicked it into the gutters at the front of the apartments - somewhat filthy to be sitting on your balcony and watching.

The location of this apartment was excellent, near railway station and bus station. The Rota Suites although apartments suited us and it did not matter that it did not have full hotel facilities I.E. swimming pool etc. on site as we wanted to use it as a base. We were able to be free and do as we pleased and choose different restaurants etc. to eat.

Good apartment for our family, great little kitchenette hidden in the cupboard. Easy walk to Sorrento train station and ferry port. Close to sorrento main street. very friendly and helpful reception staff

The rota suites were an ideal place for a small family to explore Sorrento and the surrounding sites. It perfectly catered for the four of us. The sofa bed was good quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful. In terms of location, it was ideal, close to the town centre, but a wee bit away from the main thrust (and noise levels). The rooms were clean and spacious. Having the balcony with a view of Vesuvious also added that little bit extra and helped unwind with a wine at the end of the day.

Only minor complaints. One bathroom accessed from one bedroom. Dining room chairs were noisy being moved on the tiled floor.

This was a beautiful apartment with seaviews. We had been travelling europe for 3 months so wanted somewhere to just relax for a week and this place was perfect. There is no beach in Sorrento but it was an easy walk to the port to catch a boat to capri, Amalfi etc. Staff could not do enough to ensure you had a great stay.

The floor tiles were very filthy. Just minutes after checking in all our feet were black. Even after the cleaner came on the tuesday the floors were not cleaned. Maybe not a priority in Italy. This is more an apartment for 2 or a family with young children as you must walk through the main bedroom to access the bathroom.

Privacy ..... Position ...... Excellent staff especially Raffaella I will be back 3 times a year from now on .

When I had a visitor I had to phone to say he or she was leaving .

Rota Suites met our needs completely. Good location, rooms were of good size, clean, quiet and staff was helpful.

Would of liked to have had an american coffepot. Instructions in english would of helped with the washing machine.
